Austin. Liberty Free Theatre founder and Artistic Director Paul
Austin’s professional life includes acting and directing On- and Off- Broadway
and in regional theatres around the country. His
many Paul's numerous film appearances include featured roles in Tune in Tomorrow and Sommersby. He has directed well over 100 plays, including many new works. Paul has written for, and about, the stage – plays, poetry and essays alike. His plays have been produced in New York and around the country, and have been published in various journals. He authored Spontaneous Behavior, a book about acting. He was the Artistic Director of The Image Theatre and Studio in NYC for many years, where he produced and directed plays, and taught acting and directing. He was also tenured at Sarah Lawrence College, where he taught acting and directing.
